PrintIvan Montiel spoke with Celestino Caballero about the featherweight's recent battle with Jason Litzau, and his plans for the near future.
On his performance against Litzau...
"The problem was I gained too much weight and felt too heavy."
Was he surprised that Litzau took his punches so well...
"Yes, unfortunately I didn't have the same speed while landing those big shots. Otherwise it would have been a different outcome."
On a Litzau rematch...
"I would love a rematch, even it happens at a higher weight class... if not I would like another championship fight at 126. I won't forget Litzau though and I want another fight with him."

He wants a title shot based off of that? He is something else. How about a Jeffrey mathebula rematch? With all of his talking, I’ve never heard him say a word about that. He really rubs me the wrong way.
