In a fast paced, though slightly one sided clash, Manchester fighter John Murray (29-0) stopped Welshman Gary Buckland (18-2) in the eleventh round of scheduled twelve. The 23 year old from Cardiff was still on his feet and battling, but had soaked up a great deal of punishment when referee Marcus McDonnell called a halt to the spirited contest.
