A Quick Word with Neven Pajkic
Corey Erdman had a chance to talk to undefeated heavyweight Neven Pajkic earlier this week. The Canadian champion takes on Raphael Butler in the main-event of tomorrow night's card (broadcast live in Canada on TSN2) at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
On his strategy against Butler:
"Looking for a KO if it presents itself, but sticking to my game plan, and that's lots of pressure."
What he learned from his two victories over Gregorsz Kielsa:
"I learned that I could go ten rounds, and that makes me very happy. And I can still live to tell about it."
On his concern about his own stamina:
"I remember I fought eight rounds before and I was tired, thinking, I don't know if I'll be able to last ten rounds. But then it came, and I could have lasted another ten rounds, so that's never going to be a problem anymore."
